A Voice Rising From Adversity

Naomi Jessop is the author of Beneath The Radar, a powerful memoir about resilience, mental health, autism, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, and LGBTQ identity.

Her journey is one of survival through trauma, silence, and misunderstanding. Diagnosed with autism and ADHD later in life, Naomi reveals the hidden battles that shaped her story — and how facing adversity has given her strength, self‑acceptance, and courage.

Writing as Healing and Activism

Through her memoir, Naomi writes honestly about family dynamics, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and the process of rediscovering identity. Writing became both a way of healing and a way of amplifying voices that are too often ignored in conversations about mental health, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ identity.

Her work is both personal and universal, offering readers a mirror to their own struggles with resilience, truth, and belonging.

Mission and Advocacy

Naomi’s mission extends beyond telling her story. She is committed to:

  • Raising awareness of the realities of living with autism and ADHD.

  • Breaking stigma around PTSD, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety.

  • Advocating for LGBTQ+ representation and acceptance.

  • Building a community of visibility, empathy, and understanding.

Beyond Beneath The Radar

While Beneath The Radar is Naomi’s debut memoir, it is also the beginning of a broader vision. Through future projects and Echo and Ember Press, she hopes to create a platform for stories of resilience, identity, and growth that remind us all: no one is alone in their struggle
